Maybe I entered a contest and won twenty pounds of free books from Columbia University Press. Twenty glorious pounds of delicious reading material, delivered to my door, for FREE. I might, I admit, be running out of bookshelf space in my tiny little home, but that’s a different problem entirely. (Sort of.)
So happy right now.

There’s no such thing as too many books.
Yes! I am still unloading my collection from my mother’s basement though and I moved out almost six months ago. I think I need more shelves…
You are SO lucky. Wish I had 20 pounds of free books at my door.
[grins uncontrollably]
There are so many free book contests of late (they’re encouraging summer beach reading)! I think I’ve entered, like, six. Definitely follow your favorite publishers’ twitter feeds; I’m sure more will pop up!
I’ll do that. Thanks for the tip!
My poor shelves are warped from the weight of the books that sit on them. May be time to invest in a new bookcase (or three)…
Oh dear! That’s both a good and bad sign. Just get enough bookshelves for an entire library and you’ll be set!
Hi, Hannah!
I wanted to let you know that I have nominated you for the Sunshine Award! Details can be found here: http://unearthingwords.wordpress.com/2012/07/02/i-received-the-sunshine-award/.
Have a happy Monday!
Thank you!!
Welcome! I love your blog!
SO yummy. I second the nomnom. Enjoy!
Hehe. nomonomnomnom books :]
Love books! Trying to get very selective of the ones I bring home though as I’ve got quite a bunch.
I try to be very selective about which books I buy–if I can get it at the library, I’ll obviously do that instead–and selective about which ones I keep after I finish reading, but I have a whole bookcase dedicated to free books I haven’t read yet. It’s fabulous!
